Quilts of Valor Sit & Sew

1st Saturday Every Month

Join us on the first Saturday of every month 10 AM – 4 PM for our Quilts of Valor Sit & Sew! Come together with fellow quilters to create beautiful quilts that honor and comfort veterans and service members. Whether you're piecing, quilting, or binding, your work will contribute to a meaningful cause.

Bring your sewing machine, supplies, and a giving spirit—we’ll provide the space and camaraderie! All skill levels are welcome. Let’s sew for a purpose and make a difference, one quilt at a time.

Cathedral Window

Known for its elegant, dimensional design, this method creates the illusion of stained glass windows using carefully folded fabric and strategic hand or machine stitching—without traditional quilting or batting.

In this class, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the entire process, from preparing your base squares to mastering the folds that form the iconic “window” frames. You’ll learn how to secure layers neatly, add decorative center panels, and achieve clean, professional finishes. Tips on color placement, contrast, and pattern layout will help bring your project to life.

EQP 2025 Mystery Quilt Block #11

If you’re looking for a relaxed, educational, and creative quilting experience, the EQP 2025 Mystery Quilt offers a rewarding journey filled with skill-building, customization, and the satisfaction of completing a beautiful doll quilt—one step at a time.

Finished doll quilt is roughly 18" x 24".  Complete several and combine them for a full sized quilt.

Wrap Skirt

This class is perfect for those who have some experience using a sewing machine but are relatively new to sewing clothes. While you’ll need to be comfortable operating your sewing machine, no advanced clothing construction skills are required. We’ll cover pattern cutting, sewing techniques, and how to achieve a great fit, so you can confidently create a custom piece that’s both fashionable and functional. Wrap skirts are a versatile addition to any wardrobe, easily dressed up or down, and by the end of the class, you'll have your very own wrap skirt to wear with pride. This class is the perfect opportunity to build on your sewing skills and gain new techniques for future projects.

Casserole Caddy

Join this practical and creative sewing class where you’ll learn how to make your very own casserole caddy—perfect for potlucks, family gatherings, and everyday meal transport. Designed with both function and style in mind, this project helps keep your dishes stable, insulated, and easy to carry.

Throughout the class, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the entire construction process. You’ll learn how to add insulating layers, and assemble a structured base that supports the weight of a full dish. The class will also cover sewing reinforced handles, securing closures, and adding thoughtful details that enhance both usability and appearance.

Flat Bread

Small Cross Body Purse

June 16th

Join us for a fun and creative sewing class where you’ll make your very own cross body purse from start to finish! This class is perfect for beginners as well as those looking to build confidence with sewing projects.

You’ll learn essential skills such as reading a pattern, cutting fabric, installing straps, and assembling a lined bag. Along the way, you’ll gain helpful tips and techniques that can be applied to future sewing projects.
