1st Saturday Every Month

Join us on the first Saturday of every month 10 AM – 4 PM for our Quilts of Valor Sit & Sew! Come together with fellow quilters to create beautiful quilts that honor and comfort veterans and service members. Whether you're piecing, quilting, or binding, your work will contribute to a meaningful cause.

Bring your sewing machine, supplies, and a giving spirit—we’ll provide the space and camaraderie! All skill levels are welcome. Let’s sew for a purpose and make a difference, one quilt at a time.

Tea Cup Mug Rug In the Hoop Embroidery Class

April 7th

Join us for a fun and creative embroidery class where you'll make an adorable Tea Cup Mug Rug In-the-Hoop using your embroidery machine. This project is designed to be completed almost entirely in the hoop, making it simple, efficient, and enjoyable for embroiderers of all skill levels.

During this class, you’ll learn how to properly hoop your fabric, follow the embroidery sequence, add appliqué pieces, and assemble the mug rug right in the hoop. We’ll also cover helpful tips for clean stitching, fabric placement, trimming techniques, and finishing touches so your project looks polished and professional.

EQP 2025 Mystery Quilt Block #8

April 10th

If you’re looking for a relaxed, educational, and creative quilting experience, the EQP 2025 Mystery Quilt offers a rewarding journey filled with skill-building, customization, and the satisfaction of completing a beautiful doll quilt—one step at a time.

Finished doll quilt is roughly 18" x 24".  Complete several and combine them for a full sized quilt.

Regular Binding Class with Sewing Machine

April 25th

Ready to give your quilts the perfect finishing touch? Join us for an essential sewing class focused entirely on machine quilt binding techniques! Whether you're finishing your first quilt or looking to refine your skills, this class will walk you through the process step by step. 

 

 

Ironing Station

April 14th 

In this innovative workshop led by Pat Mckinnon, you’ll learn how to turn an ordinary folding TV tray into a practical and space-saving Ironing Station tailored for sewing and quilting projects. This class is ideal for anyone who needs a portable pressing solution or wants to maximize efficiency in a small sewing space.

Pat will guide you step-by-step through preparing the tray, adding heat-safe padding and fabric, securing layers properly, and creating a smooth, professional pressing surface. You’ll also learn tips for stability, storage, and optional enhancements to customize your station to fit your workflow.

Wrap Skirt

April 28th 

This class is perfect for those who have some experience using a sewing machine but are relatively new to sewing clothes. You’ll learn to create a stylish and flattering wrap skirt, with expert guidance on each step from fabric selection to finishing touches. While you’ll need to be comfortable operating your sewing machine, no advanced clothing construction skills are required. We’ll cover pattern cutting, sewing techniques, and how to achieve a great fit, so you can confidently create a custom piece that’s both fashionable and functional. Wrap skirts are a versatile addition to any wardrobe, easily dressed up or down, and by the end of the class, you'll have your very own wrap skirt to wear with pride. This class is the perfect opportunity to build on your sewing skills and gain new techniques for future projects.
