There’s something for every quilter this month—come see what’s blooming in the shop!

Quilts of Valor - Sit & Sew

1st Saturday Every Month

Join us on the first Saturday of every month starting in from 10 AM – 4 PM for our Quilts of Valor Sit & Sew! Come together with fellow quilters to create beautiful quilts that honor and comfort veterans and service members. Whether you're piecing, quilting, or binding, your work will contribute to a meaningful cause.  Bring your machine & essential notions, everthing else is provided.

Join us for a Sit & Sew session, where creativity and community come together! This is the perfect opportunity to bring your projects, enjoy uninterrupted sewing time, and share inspiration with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you're piecing together a quilt, finishing a garment, or just starting a new project, our welcoming space is designed to fuel your passion for sewing.

 

Beginner Sampler Quilt Class

Learn to Quilt

Join us with Kathie Peterkin and learn to quilt.  You will have the opportunity to learn basic quilting skills for creating six basic blocks that will form a lap size quilt 48"x57". The blocks will include the rail, 9 patch, pinwheel, friendship star, log cabin and 8-point star. You will complete the blocks in the first three classes. The final class will focus on adding borders, making binding and how to finish your quilt.

 

 

 

Computer Confidence for Machine Embroiderers

Are you excited to use your embroidery machine but unsure how to get those beautiful designs from your computer to your machine? This beginner-friendly class is designed just for you!

Bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn. We’ll keep things simple, hands-on, and judgment-free. By the end of class, you’ll have the skills to download and transfer new designs all on your own!

 

Round About Stars Quilt Class

 

Join us for a joyful quilting journey in this dynamic class featuring the Roundabout Stars Quilt—a dazzling pattern created by the beloved quilting icon Eleanor Burns. Led by instructor Lynn Waceser, this class is perfect for beginners and seasoned quilters alike who are ready to bring bold stars and spinning motion into their quilt projects.

The Roundabout Stars pattern is a stunning combination of traditional star blocks with a playful twist of movement and color that gives it a modern flair. You'll learn how to create sharp points and eye-catching secondary patterns with ease. Lynn will guide you step-by-step through block assembly, and layout options to make this quilt uniquely yours.

Greenhouse Small Quilt Class

Step into a world of color, creativity, and botanical beauty with the Greenhouse Small Quilt Class, featuring the beloved pattern by Elizabeth Hartman and guided by Cori Swarts. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced quilters alike who are ready to dive into a fun, vibrant quilting project that combines precision piecing with playful design.

The Greenhouse quilt design is a fresh take on traditional botanical motifs, showcasing a lush collection of stylized succulents and houseplants arranged in neat, greenhouse-style rows. In this class, you'll create the smaller version of the quilt—a perfect project for wall hangings, baby quilts, or an eye-catching statement piece in your home. 

 

Sit & Embroidery - Last Tuesday Each Month

Join us for a Sit & Embroider session, where creativity and connection meet! This is the perfect opportunity to bring your embroidery projects, enjoy uninterrupted stitching time, and share inspiration with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you’re working on intricate designs, starting a new piece, or refining your technique, our welcoming space is here to fuel your passion for embroidery.
